Needlework and business books written for the third largest craft book publisher in the U.S, in the 1980s. They were co-authored with Iona Dettelbach, co-owner of And Sew On Inc. a custom needlework store on the east side of Cleveland. Their “Needlebook From Start to Finish for Right- and Left-handed stitchers” was a national best seller, selling in excess of 5,000 copies per month. The two also wrote several top-selling craft books for the same company. They learned the publishing business there.

After moving to Venice in 1993, she first wrote about real estate for the Venice Gondolier Sun where she has been the Our Town Editor for most of the past 24 years.
During these years, she began her series of ghost stories and founded her own publishing house, Historic Venice Press. Her books are at Barnes and Noble and many other book stores as well as online.
She was a charter member of the group that founded the Venice Writers Festival and has won state, regional and national awards for her books and numerous awards in journalism, including first place awards annually for the past several years from the Florida Publishers Association..
She attended the first Olympic Training Camp for Women Curlers and is a national judge for US Figure Skating. She was honored for 50 years of service to the sport in 2917 in Colorado Springs.
