Luncheon with Michele Redwine, Founder and Executive Director Suncoast Black Arts Collaborative

Our first event of the season features the Suncoast Black Arts Collaborative. The dual mission of this organization is 1) To advocate for greater exposure to Artists of African descent throughout the Suncoast Arts community and 2)To provide educational forums/symposia to expose students and art patrons to the work of artists of African descent.  Join us for a wonderful lunch at Rosemary and Thyme, where we will hear from Founder and Executive Director Michele Des Verney Redwine.

Ms. Redwine earned her BFA from Boston University and the Certification in Equal Employment Opportunities from Cornell University.  She began her career as a visual arts instructor for 20 years both in independent and public schools, and served as an educator with 45 years of executive leadership at not-for-profits, public sector and educational institutions and local government entities.
